Upcoming Show: 2020 VMRC Juried Art Exhibition

We received notice for this year’s VMRC Juried Art Exhibition in Harrisonburg:

It is a snowy morning here in Harrisonburg but whatever the weather in your area I hope you are thinking about your entry for our 2020 exhibition. The entry deadline is March 16 and we hope to hear from you before that date. For your convenience I am attaching a copy of the prospectus and entry form!

Website Updates

The following updates have been made to our website since last post:

The program for our May 18 meeting ha been finalized. Mary Margaret Pipkin will be our guest speaker.
Our 2020 Directory is now linked to our Membership page. You can download and print any portion of it as you need.
We continue to get members joining and/or rejoining. Our membership listing is up to date.

It is a new year and your Guild leadership has been busy planning ahead:

Our CVWG website can now be found at www.CVWG.art. We were able to take advantage of a new generation of web addresses to secure this 2nd web address that should be easier to recall and to share with others. Bookmark us and check back often!

A New Member-Artist Page Featuring Marcy Springett

Member Marcy Springett has graciously agreed to be featured as one of our Member-Artists. Her page can be found in the menu on the left side of our website or at this link.

Coming Soon– A Link to Sterling Edward’s Newsletters

We have received agreement by renowned watercolor artist Sterling Edwards to link to his newsletters. Now that year-beginning changes are settling down, we’ll soon be posting that to you.

Web Has Been Updated with New Guild Details

Our website is now updated with all the latest details for the coming 12 months with meetings, events, exhibits, programs, membership, calendar, and other details as up to date as we know. As in past years,s we’ll be keeping this site updated more frequently than we were able to do with the printed directory. Check it out and refer to it frequently.
