Member and professional artist Peg Sheridan reports that she has been productive during the pandemic enjoying extra time both painting in her studio and en plein air.

I have completed several new paintings, finished many incomplete paintings, and also painted several silk scarves.  You can see all of these on my website, www.pegsheridan.com.

She also reports being very busy:

  • Peg is the Featured Artist show at Cabell Gallery in Lexington. The show has been extended through July (call 540-461-8488 for hours and directions).
  • She has three paintings in the Beverley Street Studio School Faculty Show, in Staunton.  Go visit the gallery to see the show and enjoy the festive atmosphere on Beverley Street.  During the weekends, the street is blocked and restaurants have outdoor seating.
  • Peg has a class coming up that still has openings. Check it out on her website at http://www.pegsheridan.com/upcoming-classes.html.

Finally, congratulations to Peg for an Honorable Mention award at the Shenandoah Valley Art Center juried members show.
