VWS Exhibit in Winchester

Screen Shot 2017-12-13 at 8.55.12 AMThere’s not much time left to see this year’s Virginia Watercolor Society Exhibition–it closes January 7, 2018. But if you are looking for an outing over the holidays, I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Winchester.

The show is being held at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. The galleries are spacious and well lit. They provide a perfect setting for some amazing art. Congratulations to six members of CVWG who are represented: Brenda Hounshell, Sue Linthicum, Julie Read, Peg Sheridan, Marcy Springett and Don Whitson.

The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley is closed on Mondays and free on Wednesdays; On other days there is an admission charge ($8:00 seniors). Don’t let this deter you from going! Besides other interesting exhibits in the main building, there is the neighboring Glen Burnie house and gardens to be enjoyed as well.
